Our colourful skies

Have you ever noticed how many colours you can see in a sunrise or sunset?

I picked some of my favourite captures and created a gradient using the colours in the photo, the results are beautiful.

Let’s get together and #makeforgood

Announcement: the #makeforgood campaign has now finished, however I still have two of these beautiful dreamcatchers available for purchase in my store but proceeds are no longer going towards the campaign. The campaign managed to raise over $30 000 for this wonderful cause, and I’m happy to know that even my small contribution was a part of that. Read more about the amazing effort on the Etsy blog

Japan – photo diary

It was hard picking only a select number of images for this photo diary, we saw so many amazing places: manmade and natural. Japan truly is an amazing country, I’m so glad I got to experience it.

Pom-pom garland tutorial

I have a bit of an obsession with buying wool, if I see something I like I will instantly buy it (knowing that one day I will have a use for it). Lately this has gotten a bit out of hand – I’m putting it down to it being winter and that there is so much great stock available! As a result I can no longer close the lid on my storage box.

Dreamcatchers by Eeclaire

For as long as I can remember I have always been a crafter – it began with Monday afternoon craft days in primary school, scrapbooking marathons all throughout high school and endless late nights completing my year 12 major textiles project (complete with a sewn thumb!)

The magic of garlic

Garlic reminds me of winter; warm roasts in the slow cooker, the scrumptious aromas drifting through the home. Snuggling up on the couch wrapped in a blanket engrossed in a good book and pot of tea, winter clothes and ugg boots. And who can forget the beautiful crispness that’s in the air. As well as the comforts of winter, garlic also makes me think of the dreaded common cold!

mint

Health benefits of mint

The smell of mint is quite possibly one of my favourites, it’s crisp, fresh and calming. Smelling mint takes me back to hot summer days; being in the garden feeling the warm sun on my summer skin, sipping on an ice-cold drink and devouring freshly cut watermelon.
